Balcony areas are constantly exposed to the elements and need to be safe, comfortable and visually appealing. Balcony Flooring's 1.8 cm Balcony Carpet, made from PU-bonded rubber granules, exceeds these expectations. Its 1.8 cm thickness and generous 100 x 100 cm format make it a versatile choice for balconies, loggias and conservatories from 20 to 50 m². Its robust and weatherproof construction ensures long-lasting performance, combining functionality with modern aesthetics.
Easy to install
This balcony flooring features an ingenious puzzle-edge system that creates a precise, secure connection between tiles, ensuring they stay in place without the need for additional fixings. Whether for new builds or renovations, the tiles can be laid on concrete, aggregate paving, tiles, waterproofing membranes and similar surfaces.
With a 50 cm tile grid, a variety of installation patterns can be achieved, such as a grid layout, staggered rows or diagonal designs. The result is a modern, harmonious surface with an elegant joint pattern.
Exceptional drainage properties
The highly draining tile structure and integrated drainage system are key highlights of this product. The underside of each tile has channels approximately 4mm deep, forming a continuous network across the surface. This effectively channels rainwater, prevents ponding and ensures that the area remains puddle-free and dries quickly, even in adverse weather conditions. For highly exposed areas, such as open roof terraces, the smaller 50 x 50 cm format is recommended to increase stability and drainage efficiency.
Comfort and safety
The slip-resistant, resilient surface of Balcony Flooring 1.8 cm Balcony Carpet offers exceptional comfort and safety. Barefoot friendly, it is perfect for homes with children, the elderly or pets. Its superior impact sound insulation absorbs movement noise, a valuable feature in densely built residential areas. Despite its flexibility, the floor can support heavy items such as garden furniture or planters without leaving permanent marks.
Low maintenance and durability
This floor is exceptionally easy to maintain. Fine dirt is washed away by rain, while larger stains can be easily removed with a broom or hose. It does not require any additional treatment such as impregnation or sealing. The material is frost and mildew resistant and will not crack or chip, ensuring a long service life.
Sustainable and economic benefits
As well as being practical and durable, this balcony flooring is also an economical choice. It is self-installable, which means there is no need for professional labour or complex substructures. The tiles can be removed and reused elsewhere, increasing their cost effectiveness. Made primarily from recycled ELT rubber granules, the material also contributes to environmental sustainability.
Redefine your balcony
Balcony Flooring's 1.8 cm Balcony Carpet is a thoughtfully designed flooring solution for high performance outdoor spaces. Combining ease of installation, weather resistance and contemporary design, it is a lasting investment in comfort and aesthetics. Whether for new build or refurbishment, this flooring meets the highest standards and is the ideal choice for balconies, loggias and conservatories.

Goods ready for despatch are packed to ensure cost effective and safe transport. Smaller orders are sent by parcel post - up to five parcels can be sent, with a maximum weight of 29kg per parcel.
Items are generally packed on disposable pallets. We use three types of pallet: quarter pallets, half pallets and industrial pallets. The items in your order are stacked on the appropriate pallet and wrapped in stretch film. Depending on the type of pallet, the goods ordered and the destination country, a pallet can weigh up to 1200kg. Please note that pallets will not be returned and will remain with the recipient.
Pallet shipments are handled by carriers. For shipments weighing up to 2500kg, unloading from the lorry is usually included in the price. For heavier shipments, the recipient is usually responsible for unloading (using a forklift, front-end loader or ramp). Alternative arrangements can be made if required.
